RECOVERY

Insurance Recovery Remodeling

Unexpected damage to your home can be overwhelming, but Chevy Chase Remodeling is here to help guide you through the recovery process. Our experienced team works closely with your insurance company to ensure a smooth claims process, from assessing the damage to final restoration. We’ll handle the details, so you can focus on getting your home back to normal with the quality and care Chevy Chase Remodeling is known for.

Insurance Recovery Remodeling Process

  1. Initial Inspection: A Chevy Chase Remodeling Project Manager will conduct an inspection of your home to assess the overall condition of your restoration project.
  2. Initiate Your Insurance Claim: Contact your insurance company to start the claims process.
  3.  Coordinating with the Adjuster: Once you receive your claim number, a Chevy Chase Remodeling representative will reach out to the insurance adjuster to begin the restoration process.
  4. Damage Assessment: We’ll meet with the adjuster to review the full extent of the damage. If the adjuster agrees with our assessment, we’ll move forward. If there are discrepancies, we’ll request a re-inspection or involve an arbitrator to ensure you receive the full compensation you’re entitled to. We’ll keep you informed every step of the way.
  5. Approval and Next Steps: Once your insurance company approves the claim, the adjuster will authorize them to issue a check for at least half of the project’s cost. While waiting for the payment, you’ll work with your Project Manager to select materials, colors, and finishes for your renovation.

Final Steps in the Insurance Recovery Process

  • Material Ordering: After selecting your building and construction materials, our representative will order the necessary supplies to replace the damaged areas.
  • Scheduling and Crew Assignment: We’ll schedule the work to be done and assign the appropriate management crews to your project.
  • Project Kickoff: On the day of construction, your Project Manager will meet the crews at your home to oversee the start of work.
  • Inspection and Quality Check: Once the work is completed, you and your Project Manager will go through a detailed inspection checklist to ensure everything meets your expectations and is done to your
    satisfaction.
  • Final Payment and Inspection: After the work is completed, we will invoice your insurance company for the remaining balance due. Once you receive your final payment, our Project Manager will return to collect the check and perform a final inspection to confirm that you are completely satisfied with the results.
