Insurance Recovery Remodeling Process
- Initial Inspection: A Chevy Chase Remodeling Project Manager will conduct an inspection of your home to assess the overall condition of your restoration project.
- Initiate Your Insurance Claim: Contact your insurance company to start the claims process.
- Coordinating with the Adjuster: Once you receive your claim number, a Chevy Chase Remodeling representative will reach out to the insurance adjuster to begin the restoration process.
- Damage Assessment: We’ll meet with the adjuster to review the full extent of the damage. If the adjuster agrees with our assessment, we’ll move forward. If there are discrepancies, we’ll request a re-inspection or involve an arbitrator to ensure you receive the full compensation you’re entitled to. We’ll keep you informed every step of the way.
- Approval and Next Steps: Once your insurance company approves the claim, the adjuster will authorize them to issue a check for at least half of the project’s cost. While waiting for the payment, you’ll work with your Project Manager to select materials, colors, and finishes for your renovation.
